dokbuiles is a non-medical boarding home suited to older adults who are largely independent but benefit from daily support, companionship, and a structured, peaceful environment. It is not a nursing home and does not offer medical care — though it is located close to local health services.

All room fees include accommodation, three daily meals, housekeeping, and utilities. Higher room tiers include laundry services, afternoon tea, personal assistance, and full participation in the activities programme. There are no hidden charges for standard household services.

Yes — there are no set visiting hours. Family are welcome to visit at any time, join a meal, or spend the day. The home is designed to feel welcoming rather than institutional, and family relationships are considered part of a resident's wellbeing.

A weekly schedule is shared with residents at the start of each week. Activities rotate through Thai craft, pond garden walks, cultural outings to local markets, film evenings, and music sessions. Participation is always at each resident's discretion — no pressure, no expectation.

The minimum stay is one month, and rooms are arranged on a rolling monthly basis. To begin the process, simply call or write to us — we will arrange a visit so you can see the home and meet the team before any commitment is made.

The home is staffed by English-speaking team members and has welcomed residents from a range of backgrounds. The Chonburi area has strong international community links and access to English-language medical and administrative services. Visa and immigration matters are the resident's own responsibility, and we are happy to discuss practical questions during an introductory visit.
